Bakumatsu 01

Semi short summary of the episode: Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto (Henceworth known as Bakumatsu) begins during the end of the Edo Era, during a time when Westerners have begun to overshadow the Tokugawa Dynasty. We are shown a small skirmish by two samurai waylayed by a reincarnated Sephiroth in a suit. Mr. Suit is able to defeat one of the two samurai quickly (Despite him chanting DIE DIE DIE over and over again), but a freak earthquake suddenly interrupts the fight. Code Geass 02

Code Geass is certainly becoming interesting to say the least. Lelouch has just recieved a new power which is named “Geass” (Probably related to the Irish Geas somehow), which apparently has the power to warp his target’s mind into following his commands, no matter what they are. There are of course restrictions, such as it requires the user to be able to actually see his target to use the ability (hi2u Death Note). Read the rest of this entry »

Code Geass 01

Sunrise’s newest series, Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch starts us off in the year 2010 of the Common Era, at which point in time the Holy Empire of Britania begins their invasion of Japan, the last remaining super power in the world. The small island nation was clearly outmatched by not only the sheer numbers of the Britanic forces, but also by Britania’s far superior technology. Britania deployed their first series of Knightmare Frames during their invasion of Japan, a new kind of humanoid powered armor (think Mobile Suits).
